	ANNOUNCEMENT! KENSHIN TEAMS UP WITH YAMASAKI ACADEMY! Effective, July 1st the Kenshin Karate School will enter into partnership with the respected Yamasaki Academy of Rockville, MD. The Yamasaki Academy (www.grappling.com) is well known throughout the Washington DC area and beyond as one of the finest mixed martial arts schools. Over the course of time, the two schools will combine our talents and experience to create one of the truly outstanding martial arts dojos ever seen in this area. The Yamasaki Academy offers training in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai Boxing, and Capoeira for kids, teens, and adults. Soon, all of those disciplines and more will be merged into the Kenshin Karate School's schedule and offered at our current location. Check back here often for more announcements regarding schedules, classes, open-house demonstrations, and more! The Kenshin Karate School provides a uniquely traditional approach to the teaching of martial arts. Instruction is offered in traditional Japanese Gojuryu Karate, Bujinkan Taijitsu, selected special interest martial arts classes, and general physical fitness training. The finest martial arts equipment and supplies are also on sale at the school. The martial arts were designed on the concepts of self-defense and character development. The principles we stress include respect, confidence, discipline, mental alertness, and a positive attitude towards life. We are dedicated to helping others develop confidence through self-defense skills by focusing on the nature and structure of conflicts and how we can resolve them peacefully as a first alternative. Classes are intense workouts and offer exciting programs for adults, children, and families. Our convenient and flexible scheduling has been designed with our students in mind to afford the maximum opportunity to achieve the benefits that martial arts training has to offer.
